Time, an illusion.

Or so I like to see it. Unfortunately the people in charge of the world does not see it that way. So therefor the illusion of Time and I have a constant battle to fight. We do like each other. We just dont always agree.

So there was a very nice and cold and snowy christmas in sweden with minus 26 at the coldest. And ther was a very nice new years eve in London with not as cold at the coldest. But lots of singing.

I guess this is when my current discussion with the illusion began. But it will soon be rectified and we will be on track again. Meanwhile, remember to write a letter to Your Tax Man. Santa has gone on holiday.

From the land of Ice and Snow

This morning, as I filled up the car at a gas station covered in a white duvet of crisp snow, my joke about how bloody cold it was (-10C°) was met by blank expressions by the locals. I should know better. I always tell people off for saying its cold when it's not. But the combined effects of trying to work the new-fangled swedish gaspump system (this is a country were people pay their bus tickets by texting. By TEXTING!) whilst wearing oversized giant-knit mittens and not trying to freeze my nose off generated a 'cold today' comment. But, as Led Zeppeline once described it, 'we come from the land of the ice and snow', and there's no pity for pathetic ex-pats.

There's no denying though, that despite a constant battle of supremacy over my mittens, I love it. There is white snow covering everything and frosty cold to make the world clean and fresh again. So I am very happy to be able to present my daily drawings from a Sweden that is fulfilling all my hopes for a proper old-school snow-covered christmas.

All I'm hoping for now is a bit of viking stylee fetivities. 'Valhalla, I am coming!'

One Hundred Drawings

I have decided to take part in the project 'One hundred days to make me a better person'. It is a project that involves people doing something good or something that will improve themselves or their surrounding, for hundred days.

My attemt to do so involves making one drawing a day for one hundred days, hopefully concluding in, if logic prevails, One Hundred Drawings. At the end I might be a better person, or perhaps just better at drawing really fast.

Hope you enjoy them.
